The Prime Minister also promised the growth of average salaries.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman promised to “systematically increase” of pensions since March 1, 2019.
“We are raising pensions, but I would like that the Ukrainian pensioners receive a higher. Since March 1, we pandacam pensions, and it will systematically increase every year. But difficult tasks are not run immediately”, – said the Prime Minister, reports Rus.Media.
The Prime Minister also announced about the system of subsidies, which are developed and which compensate for the risks to vulnerable categories.
The Prime Minister also drew attention to a tendency to increase the minimum wage. Groysman promises that in December of this year, the average wage in Ukraine will be UAH 10 thousand.
Earlier in the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine announced the increase of minimum pensions. In March 2019, the minimum pension in Ukraine plan to raise to 20%. As explained by the Minister sotspolitiki Andrey Reva, this indexing is “modernizing”.
Now the minimum pension in the country is 1435 UAH. December 1, 2018 it will increase to $ 1497 USD. After modernization will be about 1800 USD.
