Michael Kohan won the Junior European championship.

The Ukrainian athletics growing up a talented young generation. At the European championship U-18 in the Hungarian györ Ukrainian Mikhail Kokhan won gold in the hammer throw, setting a world record for his age.

In his last attempt he threw the hammer at 87,82 m. as a result, he broke a personal record, the record of the European championship, a world record for athletes of his age, of course, set the best result of the season.

“I’m overjoyed. I worked so hard for this and deserved this result. It’s an extraordinary feeling and a fantastic feeling when you hit the world record,” said Kohan.

Recently Ukrainian Dialects broke the world record on 50m butterfly in swimming.
