Ukraine intends to invite the European Union to renegotiate the terms of membership in the Association
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze, the press service of the government portal.
“In 2020, five years after the introduction of the Association Agreement into effect, it is possible to talk about the review. Of course we will need to work with colleagues from different ministries, to offer our vision of the review in particular, because Ukraine has changed the structure of the economy, compared to the time when we conducted the initial consultation,” she said.
At the same time, klympush-Tsintsadze said that Ukraine for the year 2018 has implemented 52% of planned tasks that relate to the Association Agreement with the European Union.

In the European Union are awaiting publication of the final version of the “language law” passed by the Verkhovna Rada on April 25.
“We know that the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a new language law. We await the publication of the final version of the law, to perform any of its contents. We repeatedly insisted that the Ukrainian government needs to send language law for consideration of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe before it comes into force”, – said the interlocutor of the edition.
In turn, Minister of foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyyarto called “unacceptable” adopted by the Ukrainian Parliament of the “language law”.
The Minister noted that it violates the rights of the Hungarian minority and corresponds to the vision of President Petro Poroshenko, who, according to the diplomat, promoted antiviruskey policy.
However, he expressed the hope that with the future President of the country Vladimir Zelensky “you will have to clarify the laws affecting the rights of the Hungarian community”.
