A cyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition after being suffered “serious head injuries” during a collision with a car occurred in the Petite-Patrie.
At the very end of the evening, the Police Department of the City of Montreal (SPVM) indicated that physicians no longer feared for his life.
“The cyclist was going east on Beaubien. Possibly a vehicle would have to cut the intersection of rue Chabot, because he entered the side of the vehicle, “said police spokesman Benoit Boisselle.
The victim is “between the ages of 30 and 35 years,” said Mr. Boisselle. “We have no exact age because he had no identification papers on him.”
The SPVM conducts an investigation to reconstruct the accident.
Earlier, a 58 year old cyclist was killed in the Riviere-des-Prairies area, east of Montreal.
The cyclist has decided to cross when a heavy truck passed over the Rivière-des-Prairies Boulevard. The police found on the spot death of cyclist who may have been reckless in trying to cross.
A wide perimeter was erected for several hours in the afternoon, the time to investigate.
