Chicago police were told to be on the lookout for the situation of Irish singer Sinead O’Connor after she apparently threatened to launch a bridge.
The spokesman Thomas Sweeney Police said Thursday that authorities were not actively looking for the artist at the moment. The Irish authorities reported that Sinead O’Connor had contacted his family and had suicidal thoughts.
The police saw a person who threatened to jump from a viaduct over a highway in Chicago, but he was a man of 54 years. The individual was taken to hospital.
Last month, police in a suburb of Chicago had launched a search to find the singer who was missing. She was eventually found safe in a hotel.
