The President decided on the dismissal of Medvedev, who, as it turned out, “working for competitors”
This is stated on the website of the President.
“Decree of the President of Ukraine №185/2019. The dismissal of Oleg Medvedev to release from the post of Adviser of President of Ukraine. To dismiss Medvedev Oleg Aleksandrovich from a position”, — stated in the message.
It is noteworthy that the document was signed on may 3, but it is not officially publicized.
Moreover it is known that before assuming the position of adviser to Medvedev was considered one of the top PR BYUT and personally Yulia Tymoshenko.
As previously reported, the faction of the party “national front” in the Verkhovna Rada left the coalition. The corresponding statement was made from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada on 17 may.
Immediately after this, the speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy has announced that the coalition “European Ukraine” ceased to exist.
The Chairman of the faction “people’s front” Maxim Bourbaki at the plenary session of Parliament officially announced its withdrawal from the coalition after the members of the faction unanimously supported this decision.
“We declare our withdrawal from the current coalition, ending its activity from may 17, 2019 and on the initiative of forming a new coalition with a new agenda”, he said from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
Bourbaki on behalf of the “people’s front” said that the coalition formed in 2014 and is in force to this day, has fulfilled its task.
After the speech of the Deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy has announced that the coalition “European Ukraine” ceased to exist.
Experts are of the opinion that in this way Parliament has defeated President-elect Vladimir Zelensky, who after his inauguration on 20 may would have the authority to declare its disbandment and even going to do it.
Now after the release of “popular front” in the Parliament should be formed a new majority. That legislation was given a one month. While the process of forming a coalition, the President has no right to dissolve the Rada. But even if the new coalition is not created, Zelensky will not be able to dissolve Parliament prematurely, as this can be done in less than six months before the election.
Vladimir Zelensky will take the oath on may 20. Parliament voted for this date is 16 may. After the inauguration Zelensky will get all the powers of the presidency, including will be able to initiate the dissolution of Parliament. Such a right he retained until 27 may (six months before the date of expiry of the powers of Parliament, or as many lawyers interpret – for the six months prior to the parliamentary elections).
We will remind, scandal in Parliament: the people’s Deputy tried to “hang” this shame to see it all.
Politeka as reported, the Verkhovna Rada messed Zelensky: “the inauguration is scheduled to catch”.
Politeka also wrote that the Council prepares for early elections: the Zelensky decision will be fatal, “there are two dates.”
