The MI-171A2 will travel to India as export to Russia

The first batch of helicopters model MI-171A2 will be delivered to India Russian airline manufacturer. At the Dubai Airshow-2017 were concluded business cooperation contract with Vectra Group.

It became known that the company “Helicopters of Russia” signed a business contract with the Indian partners of the Vectra Group. This event took place on 15-th International exhibition Dubai Airshow-2017, which was held in early November. The successful contract will be a further delivery on the territory of India helicopters model MI-171A2. The first copies will go for export in January 2018. As reported by the representatives of the concern “Russian Helicopters”, a proposal to conclude the cooperation with the Indian partners became the first joint project.

The MI-171A2 is a multi-purpose in use. This is the newest model, which was constructed in the result of a combination of options and technical features of its two predecessors, the MI-8 and MI-17. If this technique meets all the needs of customers in the process of its operation, it is possible that India will once again be a contender to supply the next batch of helicopters.
