The government should not interfere with administrative decisions in pricing, even for energy
This was stated by Prime Minister Aleksei Goncharuk, talking to journalists in Kyiv on Friday, Interfax, Ukrainian news.
“When a politician begins to interfere in price, this leads to inefficiency, corruption and populism,” – said the Prime Minister, answering a question about the price of gas for the population, which has long been controversial in relations between the past, the Cabinet of Ministers and the International monetary Fund.
According to him, if some part of the population unable to cope with the market price, the government should help. “Until to pay for it, the value of this resource,” – said Goncharuk.
