The European Union believes that Kiev would have to send language law for consideration to the Venice Commission before it will take effect

“We know that the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a new language law. We await the publication of the final version of the law, to perform any of its contents. We repeatedly insisted that the Ukrainian government needs to send language law for consideration of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe before it comes into force”, – said the interlocutor of the edition.
