The Eastman Matches for “Living Landscape”

(Eastman) The theme of the 14th edition of Eastman Matches, Inhabiting the landscape, makes sense. The setting, the environment we find in Eastman undoubtedly deserve attention.

The next edition of Eastman Matches will be held from 4 to 7 August. Several renowned artists, including singer-songwriter Thomas Hellman, novelist Kim Thuy and Marie-Thérèse Fortin actress will take part in the next edition of the annual event, which attracts every year thousands of visitors.

Acting as spokesperson for the event, Thomas Hellman participated yesterday at the unveiling of the programming edition 2016. He expressed enthusiasm that the event arouses in him.

“The Correspondence, it’s a nice festival with a friendly atmosphere that happens in a beautiful place, said the singer-songwriter. I have lots of friends artists who will be on site in August. ”

The artist Tristan Malavoy is part of Thomas Hellman of friends who will be the 13th edition of the annual event. His attachment to the event is sincere. He returned to the Connections almost every year for a decade.

“It’s a must for me, lance novelist and singer-songwriter. I did a lot of literary events, through the years, and Matches stand out because of the proximity of the organization with the public. ”

“I have never been as like being on holiday working when I am here for the Matches says Tristan Malavoy. That said, even if it’s a summer event, what is proposed is a good level intellectually. ”


Activities that have made the reputation of the event, writing gardens, literary cafes and shows in particular, are maintained. Novelties, including a section for teen, have also been added to the program to ensure that a wider public still feels heckled.

In the context of programming, Friday, August 5 specifically, the renowned painter Marc Séguin will give a “great interview” with Danielle Laurin. Marie-Thérèse Fortin sing for its part works popularized by Barbara during an evening performance that day.
