The dollar reached the lowest level: the record for 10 months

Exchange rates in Ukraine for may 11, 2019: the dollar lost per week 28 cents, down to the level of 20.2 UAH.

To such lowest level of the dollar against the hryvnia has not dropped in over 10 months, from July 2018. On Saturday 11 may that will working day, set a currency exchange rate in Ukraine:

$ 100 — 2620.5887 hryvnia;

100 Euro 2942.9211 UAH;

10 rubles — 4.0175 hryvnia.

The dollar lost another 4 cents, down from 26.2 UAH. The Euro rose by 2 pennies, although it continues to hold below the psychological level of 29,5 UAH. The Russian ruble fell again.

In the previous banking day, Friday 10 may, acting such currency exchange rate in Ukraine:

$ 100 — 2624.9550 hryvnia;

100 Euro 2940.4746 UAH;

10 rubles — 4.0242 hryvnia.

The trend towards the strengthening of the hryvnia on the interbank market continued on Friday. Trading on Friday may 10, ended with a decline of quotations. The dollar fell to end the session at 7 cents, buying at 9 cents on sale. The Euro dropped 3 pennies in the purchase and 5 cents for sale.

Proposal for a currency exceeded the demand, and the NBU was not trying to keep the dollar from declining. Reference rate for the dollar was set may 10 at 12:00 regulator at the level of UAH 26,2178.

The dollar at the closing session on Friday was on the level of 26.16/26,19 UAH, the Euro fell to the level 29,41/29,45 UAH, Russian rubles finished lower level 0,4010/0,4017 UAH.

As previously reported, Ukraine has increased the average wage. The average nominal salary of full-time Ukrainian worker in March 2019 increased in comparison with March of last year, 22.1% – to UAH 10237, according to the State statistics service. And in comparison with February of current year the average salary in March rose by 8.6%. However, real wages in March 2019, compared with February rose by 7.6% as compared to March last year – 12.5%.

According to the state statistics Committee, the average nominal salary of full-time employee in Ukraine in March of this year, 2.5 times higher than the official minimum wage, which is UAH 4173. At the end of March, the average salary in Kiev was UAH 16207.
