The coast guard of Greece has detained a tugboat with six tons of marijuana

The coast guard detained off the coast of Greece near the island of Crete tug, on Board of which law enforcement authorities found more than six tons of processed and ready-to-use marijuana.

Local Greek TV channel ERT says that the plane on protection of borders of the European Agency Frontex in the South of the island of Crete found a tow ANDREAS. Specifies that the crew did not react and did not obey to the orders of the coast guard.

Law enforcement officers made a few warning shots in the air, and then the tug landed the SWAT team. They first immobilized the people who were there, and then using police sniffer dogs found in the hold more than 6 tons of processed marijuana. It was packaged in 241 packaging and, apparently, transported for sale.
