The City opens its swimming pools and beaches

1214049(SHERBROOKE) In time for the arrival of summer temperatures, the City of Sherbrooke announced that most of its public outdoor pools will be open on Saturday.

Note that the outdoor pools are open every day from 12 am to 19 pm 30 30, and, depending on weather conditions.

However, the pools of Andrew Sangster Park in the Borough of Mont-Bellevue, and the park of Saint-Alphonse-de-Liguori, in the Borough of Jacques-Cartier, will remain closed for renovations.

Their opening is scheduled for 1 July.

The City reminds users that they must wear the swimsuit accepted, and a cap, while children aged 7 and under must be accompanied at all times by a person of over 15 years in swimming.

Sherbrooke residents will also have access, beginning Saturday, to public beaches Lucien-Blanchard Park, accessible from the street Cabana and Beach Municipal-in Deauville sector.

These are open daily from 11 am to 18 pm, unless otherwise because of weather or environmental conditions.

Environment Canada plans to 26 degrees Saturday, but the mercury could climb to 28 degrees Sunday and Monday 31, in Estrie.
