(Sherbrooke) The store Sports Experts Carrefour de l’Estrie will move into the former premises of Target.
This was learned from reliable sources Tribune as rumors circulated about it for several weeks.
The shoe store Globo, the Old Navy clothing store and Marshalls discount retailer also would install at the Carrefour de l’Estrie.
The Sports Experts will move above the Super C will occupy the ground floor of the premises of former Target by fall. This move will allow the sports shop to increase its area of 20 000 to 30 000 square feet.
Meanwhile, range from the Super C will allow expansion of 8,000 square feet supermarket.
Recall that the premises of the Carrefour de l’Estrie which began work in the spring are empty since the closure of the US giant Target in February 2015.
Also, restaurant owners would move to the space vacated by the Super C near the main entrance of Carrefour.
Marshalls is a giant that is installed in Canada since 2011. In late 2015, Marshalls had 41 stores on Canadian soil while in the United States, more than one thousand into account. Marshalls belongs to the company TJX Companies, which also includes Winners and HomeSense.
