Robberies betrayed by the sale of a game console

The sale of a game console acquired in a home robbery betrayed five individuals over the weekend.

The suspects, two minors and young adults, face multiple charges following an event last Friday on McManamy Street in Sherbrooke.

Four individuals came to the West Sherbrooke housing with a knife and a firearm. They threatened the two occupants of the dwelling before searching the premises.

“They grabbed a game console and a cell phone. It is more this object that was targeted, “says the spokesman of the Sherbrooke Police Service, Philippe Dubois.

The suspects tried to resell the game console quickly with the event in question.

“It is this attempt to resell with a merchant who has identified the suspects,” said the spokesman of the SPS.

Charges of home robbery, robbery, robbery, disguise, theft and receiving must be made against the five suspects.
