Streaming for Netflix, the company has pleased fans with a teaser of the new series “Maniac.” Now the streaming service has published an additional teaser of the upcoming series. The Director of the project gave Cary Fukunaga filmed the first season of “True detective”. Note that the show is a black Comedy that unfolds in the near future. In the center of the plot — two strangers Annie Landsberg (Emma stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah hill). Each of them suffers from their own problems that do not allow them to live a normal life: Owen long years of struggling with schizophrenia, and Annie — a prolonged depression. Tired of this, they decide to take part in experimental pharmaceutical study that will help the subjects get rid of mental disorders and “repair” your mind. But in the end something is, as usual, and rehabilitation turns into the frightening mind games where it is impossible to distinguish the real world from the fictional. However, it turns out that the main characters in a strange way are connected and, perhaps, all this time they were looking for each other. Note that the “Maniac” will be a remake of the Norwegian series, which was released in 2014. It is known that the project will be 10 episodes. Except for Emma stone and Jonah hill, the show also starred Justin Theroux, Sally field, Aralin Anderson and Sonoa Mizuno. The series premiere will be on Netflix is 21 September 2018.
