Presented a fully electric bus Volvo 7900 Electric

The Swedish developers of the company Volvo has introduced a new fully electric bus Volvo 7900 Electric. It is noted that the novelty is proposed with a wide range of lithium-ion batteries, the most capacious of which will provide a range of 200 kilometers.

According to the European automobile editions, the new electric bus Volvo 7900 Electric can be equipped with lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 150, 200 and 250 kW/h – it is noted that the battery will last for 200 kilometers, but the developers noted that the reserve may vary due to terms of use and topographic features of the area.

The developers noted that the new Volvo 7900 Electric system was improved fast charging battery, which will allow to replenish the charge at end stations of the route. Among other features of the model worth noting is the improved steering system Volvo Dynamic Steering.

The new Volvo 7900 Electric, which debuted on the buses Busworld exhibition in Belgium, is a 12-metre comfortable bus, which is primarily focused on the China market and Europe. It is expected that delivery of the first models to customers will begin in late 2018, but the cost of the bus has not yet announced.
