Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on strengthening the protection of Ukrainians prisoners by the Russian authorities

“President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine “On amendments to Annex No. 3 to the Law of Ukraine “On State budget of Ukraine for the year 2018”, – stated in the message, informs Rus.Media.

It is noted that the law changed the name of the budget program under the Ministry of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine in the new wording: “Measures to protect and safeguard the rights and interests of social rehabilitation of persons deprived of personal freedom by illegal armed groups, occupation administration and/or authorities of the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of the Russian Federation in connection with social or political activities of the individuals and also support these individuals and their families, including reimbursement of losses related to their visit the granting to such persons and their families legal assistance, medical and social services, payment of state grants of a name Lukyanenko”.

These changes will facilitate the expansion of directions of use of budgetary funds related to social rehabilitation, medical and social services and payment of state scholarships named Levko Lukyanenko these categories of persons.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on 20 September adopted law No. 9026 “About modification of Appendix No. 3 to the Law of Ukraine “On State budget of Ukraine to 2018” which provides for unblocking of the payment of social assistance to families of political prisoners of the Kremlin.
