Chinese auto giant SAIC has officially unveiled the new Maxus van G50.
The novelty has an original exterior design. The car is different from the brothers in the lineup with a massive grille, which occupies almost the entire front bumper, stylish head optics with LEDs, a wide range of glazing and the rear lights connected by a chrome strip.
The dimensions of the Maxus is slightly inferior to the G50 Peugeot Traveller, which is sold in Russia: length — 750 mm 4, width — 1 800 mm height 1 720 mm, distance between centers — 800 mm 2 “monocab” is available with two – or three-row cabin on 5 or 7 seats.
Range of power units includes G50 turbo engine capacity of 1.3 and 1.5 liter capacity of 150 and 162 HP respectively. As transmissions will be offered a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-band “robot” with double clutch. Drive — only the front.
The interior of the minivan made in the style of the largest SUV brand Maxus D90. Here the same front panel, same “floating” touch screen multimedia system and “like” tidy. The center console is significantly narrower than the D90, but the selector lever is also borrowed from the flagship.
In the Arsenal of Maxus G50 has a stabilization system, engine start button, electronic handbrake, help system at descent and lifting, leather trim, panoramic roof with sunroof, camera circular video review, full-time sensors and multimedia-enabled smartphones.
The first commodity cars will arrive to dealers in December of this year.
