A man who was traveling in a van with his son died on Sunday at the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
The 39-year-old from Saint-Prime rolling on the St. Andrew path towards the municipality of Chambord, when he made an exit route.
The child, aged ten years, suffered minor injuries.
An investigation is still underway, but according to the spokesperson of the Sûreté du Québec, Hélène Nepton, the driver might be asleep at the wheel.
This hypothesis must however be “confirmed beyond doubt the conclusion of the investigation,” added the spokesman. Police say alcohol was not involved.
