President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has refused a loan of 600 million dollars, which earlier agreed to receive from Russia
As noted in the Russian government, such an agreement on granting of a loan dependent from the motion of Minsk in the direction of integration with Moscow. The old man considered that, as a consequence, possible partial loss of independence by Belarus, reports Politeka.net with reference to the foreign media.
Finance Minister of Belarus Maxim Ermolovich said that his country is well secured for the next year and no credit is needed:
“Belarus secured sources of funding in the current year, and there is a clear understanding according to sources in 2020. So the need for some political loans absolutely not,” said Ermolovich.
On the other hand, the Minister expressed a different point of view: in particular, that Minsk has received from Moscow the approval of the loan.
