Junior AA ended in Sherbrooke

stephane-dion(Sherbrooke) Given a lack of players and staff, Hockey Sherbrooke suspended touts the Junior League activities AA Estrie-Mauricie must for at least one year.

The formations of Nicolet, Trois-Rivieres, Farnham and all Plessisville have also tried to find a new circuit, but in vain.

“For the past three years, it is very difficult to compose a junior AA. Too often, there were only 12, 13 or 14 guys in the lineup and the minimum is 12. In addition, the teams have had great difficulty finding coaches and no governor has manifested to the league. It would take a 180 degree turn to the circuit operations resume, “says the Director of Hockey Sherbrooke, Stephane Dion.

All players born in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 that will play in Sherbrooke junior next season will have to evolve in the letter. The absence of a Junior AA team in Sherbrooke obviously will affect the single letter while almost all the teams will be classified A.

For example, if there were to be seven teams junior in Sherbrooke, six of these courses are classified as A and B in one instead of four in the A and three in the B. If there were to be six teams, the distribution would be: five in a and in B instead of three in the a and three in the B.
