“This is the result of a fundamentally unfair process that allowed the plaintiffs to represent a group of 22 women, most of whom had no relation to the Missouri, in one case claiming that they have developed ovarian cancer,” said a spokesman for Johnson&Johnson Carol Godwits

“The evidence in the case was just overwhelmed with prejudice,” she added.

Previously, Johnson&Johnson has already lost several processes regarding talc. The largest penalty in this case is $417 million It paid the woman who said she was sick with ovarian cancer after using products J&J on the basis of talc.
