(Sherbrooke) The work and talent of the classical guitarist Cowansville Thierry Begin-Lamontagne has again paid off: last Friday, former winner of the 2006 musical contest Festival de Sherbrooke won first prize in his seventh career this both at the international competition of classical guitar, in Cadiz, Spain.
The award was accompanied by a purse of 4,000 euros ($ 5,800 Cdn). In the month of March, Thierry had finished first at another competition in Antony in France.
