The Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine published for discussion the draft law On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in the sphere of safe operation of wheeled vehicles in accordance with the requirements of the Association Agreement between Ukraine, on one hand, and the European Union, the European atomic energy community and their member States, on the other hand, informs Rus.Media.
Under the bill, Ukraine has offered to return to compulsory regular technical inspections of vehicles since 1 January 2022.
Propose to carry out the inspection every 2 years, as well as during registration or re-registration of cars and the change of the owner, alteration to the vehicle, leaving the customs control of Ukraine.
In addition, the vehicles offer equipped with tachographs for passenger and freight traffic from July 1, 2019, and for commercial vehicles operating domestic services from March 1, 2019.
Vehicles registered before 16.06.2010, offer equipped analogue or digital tachographs, after 16.06.2010 – only digital.
For drivers of commercial vehicles offer the introduction of Certificates of professional competence, which, together with the Certificate of fitness of the vehicle for operation attached to the list of mandatory documents for the driver.
From 1 January 2020 for drivers of commercial vehicles engaged in international passenger and cargo transportation. From 1 January 2022 for drivers of domestic transportation.
In the absence of documents face a fine of 1700 UAH, or deprivation of driving license for up to 6 months. Public discussion of the bill will last until November 8, 2018. Then the bill agree on the Cabinet and submitted to the Parliament.
