The company “Ukrenergo” declared that the Ukrainian power is shut off due to import of electricity from Russia because they can not restrict imports
This was stated by the head of Department of development of the market of electricity “Ukrenergo” Nikita Vishnevsky, reported the Commander in chief.
He noted that the company may restrict the import, therefore, limits domestic energy producers.
There is no “possibility from the point of view of legislation, import restrictions on those state contracts that act. This agreement on parallel operation and it is those contracts that are,” — said Wisniewski.
And stressed that to be able to restrict the import of electricity is required to make the appropriate changes to the legislation.
Earlier, the expert of the Ukrainian Institute for the future Andrian Prokip on his page in Facebook reported that on the night of 5 November, a record delivery of electricity in unified energy system of Ukraine from Belarus and Russia, amounting to 1,216 MW. At the same time limited the inclusion capacity of renewable energy.

We will remind, on September 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine in the sphere of nuclear energy use”, which were allowed to purchase Ukrainian consumers of imported electricity at bilateral contracts. According to the author of the relevant amendment of Andrei Gerus, imports had to be from Belarus. But from October 1 started the supply of electricity from Russia in import mode. Import is carried out by the company “United energy”, which is associated with Igor Kolomoisky. For the first half of October, the electricity imports from Russia increased almost twice — with 2.4 million kWh to 4.5 million kWh per day. In early November, it increased in comparison with the average daily index in October 3 times — up to 12 million kWh/day.
