The Turkish government took the decision to dismiss more than 18 thousand state employees who, in the opinion of management of the country, were involved in the coup attempt in 2016, says the Agency RT in Russian.
We are talking about the followers of the preacher Fethullah Gulen, who, under the early in the night from 15 to 16 July attempted military coup. The main areas of action were selected two cities: Ankara and Istanbul. As a result of these actions killed more than 240 people, about two thousand were injured.
In total, according to reports, after the mutiny, the authorities took into custody about 50 thousand people, more than 140 civil servants were dismissed. All dismissal and the detention was carried out in the framework of the decree on the introduction of a regime of emergency.
