The state Duma proposes to require employers to give a day off for the people who have heart disease, in the hot weather.
Such a proposal was made by the Deputy from LDPR Vasily Vlasov, who had already sent a letter to the Minister of labour and social protection Maxim Topilin and Minister of health Veronika Skvortsova, reports “RIA Novosti”.
As explained by the Deputy, in Russia in the summer in recent years, recorded abnormally high temperatures due to climate change.
The MP says that during high temperatures, people with cardiovascular disease is very hard work. In addition, the work in such conditions harm the health of people with heart disease.
“Therefore consider it appropriate to consolidate the regulatory obligation for the employer to provide working citizens a day off in the summer days with a significant increase of the average temperature for the corresponding month in the corresponding subject of Federation”, – quotes the edition of words of Basil Vlasov.
The MP also said that the who studies show that heart disease and stroke are the most common causes among the population in Russia and around the world.
In his letter to the Vlasov asked the Ministers to consider his idea and suggest methods of implementation of his proposals.
