Since the start of the Bentley Bentayga, a crazy race has begun between car manufacturers in the development of SUVs whose opulence is matched only by the power of the engines that equip them. For example, the all-new Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Laudaulet.
This jewelery, signed by the high-end Mercedes-Benz division, offers a multitude of equipment, starting with the axles with portal axles on the G 500 4×4² and the G 63 AMG 6×6 (see Picture gallery).
Being slightly over 5.3 meters long, 3.4 meters wide and 2.2 meters high, the G 650 Laudaulet, which is mounted on 22-inch wheels, offers an impressive ground clearance 50 centimeters.
Under the hood, there is a 6.0-liter V12 AMG twin turbo engine that delivers 621 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. The exact capacities of the G 65 SUV are not yet known, even though the latter can reach 0 to 100 km / h in just over five seconds.
Although all this mechanics is impressive, it is certainly the interior of the vehicle that steals the flagship with its refined and state-of-the-art equipment.
These include Alcantara leather seats with stitched seams, cup holders with heated and refrigerating functions, two 10-inch high-definition screens, reclinable heated seats with back massage functions, and a retractable Front and rear passenger compartments.
The German SUV also offers a soft and electronically retractable roof for the rear part of the vehicle.
No sale price has yet been revealed for the Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Laudaulet which will be produced this fall in only 99 copies. According to the Autocar site , it would most likely be more expensive than the G 63 AMG 6×6 which is sold for more than $ 630,000.
