Hartley and Desroches lead with the Voltigeurs

dominique-ducharme(Drummondville) Dominique Ducharme confirmed Tuesday the identity of hockey men who épauleront in Drummondville Voltigeurs in the coming seasons. Steve Hartley and Stéphane Desroches join the title respectively formation of associate coach and assistant general manager.

A native of Joliette, Desroches worked in the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the last four seasons as a scout. He was also deputy director-general and CEO of the Joliette Action in the AAA Junior Hockey League Quebec.

“I am very happy to have Stéphane to assist me in my duties as CEO. Stéphane has a good knowledge of the QMJHL and excellent expertise to evaluate players. There is a hockey enthusiast, “says Ducharme.

At the helm of the Châteauguay Grenadiers since 2014, Steve Hartley was also assistant coach Dominique Ducharme in Mooseheads. The duo had also won the President’s Cup at the end of the 2012-2013 season and the ultimate trophy of the Memorial Cup in 2013.
