Revision of the green tariff will not, for Ukraine it is important not to change the rules

“Oksana Markarova and I met with the President and Vice-President of the European Bank of reconstruction and development. Discussed economic development, support of reforms in Ukraine, the better-than-expected results in the economy, as well as issues of green tariffs (it is important not to change the rules) and nuclear regulation,” wrote Milovanov.

Formerly a banker of the Department of electricity, EBRD Olga Yeremina said that a retrospective view of the green tariff will inflict harm to Ukraine, as the country will pay for claims in international courts much more than they want to save the initiators of this decision, and it will also prevent foreign investors.
The Ambassador of Norway in Ukraine OLE Horpestad stressed that for investors a stable environment for investment is a fundamental question, and they will negatively react to a retrospective view of the green tariff.
