One or malefactors damaged vehicles, in recent days in Saguenay, to steal gasoline. The tanks of a Dodge Ram, a Toyota RAV4 and a Ford F-150 were drilled to remove the oil. The flights took place in two businesses located on the St. Paul Boulevard and the boulevard of the Kingdom. The complaints were filed on Monday, but the events occurred during the weekend.
“This is not the first time we see this kind of mischief. To steal gasoline, they have to drill holes, because with today’s vehicles, it is no longer possible to siphon off by simply opening the tank opening, “says the spokesman of Public Safety Saguenay (SPS), Bruno Cormier.
An investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of these flights. The SPS also invite people who have information to contact the police at 418 699-6000.
