More than 90 members of election commissions died from overwork, when Indonesia held the largest elections in the world
According to preliminary calculations, 91 a member of the election Commission in Indonesia died and 374 were in the hospital. This happened after the General election.

The Chairman of the Central election Commission, Arif, Budiman said that the cause of most deaths was the fatigue from the counting of the votes. The majority of members relentlessly worked for more than a day.
Arif, Budiman promised to pay the families of the dead at 30-36 million Indonesian rupiahs (which is about 2100-2500 dollars), and has also promised to reduce the burden on members of election commissions.
In addition, from overwork and related road traffic accidents died 15 police officers across the country, according to a police Indonesia.
