(Victoriaville) The Surete du Quebec have arrested three men aged 18 to 23 years on a series of break-ins occurred in recent months in the shops from Drummondville, Victoriaville and Monteregie.
These three individuals of Sainte-Brigitte-des-Saults and compose a second wave of arrests. On 1 June, the police had put the collar of Roger Junior Blais, Sebastien Hamel Gagné and Jean-Pierre Provençal, men aged 44, 25 and 20 years old from Drummondville, Saint-Lucien and Saint-Pie.
They face more than 45 charges each, including breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, disguise with intent and conspiracy. They remain detained pending further proceedings.
The fourth suspect, a 55 year old man from Saint-Eugene, was released after questioning and will appear later.
Services of investigation of major crimes in the Monteregie, Estrie and Centre-du-Quebec, the positions of Acton and Maskoutains and the Department of Forensic Identification of the Surete du Quebec also contributed to this investigation.
