Arrests and searches in Shawinigan

1142646(Shawinigan) A 40 year old man was arrested in connection with armed aggression and threats committed on June 15 evening. It also led two searches.

A native of Shawinigan, Christian Dore appeared Friday afternoon in Shawinigan courthouse. He faces charges of assault, uttering threats and possession of narcotics. The man will remain held.

A first principal search was conducted in a residence along the St. Lawrence. The second term has led the police in a private garage of the street Trudel in Shawinigan.

Police seized two firearms and two pellet guns. On site, they also found more than 300 tablets of a substance resembling methamphetamine and cocaine and cannabis. The reported stolen on the territory of Shawinigan were also seized.

Motorcyclist died: the known identity

One of the two missing men at Saint-Michel-des-Saints was found late Friday afternoon. The helicopter of the Sûreté du Québec has helped locate Michel Tremblay, 75, near Lake Fisher. The man showed no apparent injuries, but was right even drove to the hospital to receive treatment. The vehicle has also been located. As for André Malo, 70, still missing the call and the search continues. This would have made the journey on foot. The two men would stray into the forest last Tuesday.
