It is hoped by many.
15-year-old Natalia is not like the other children in his village. It is treated with respect, consideration, asking her Council, even the elders of her community. The girl gets up before dawn to have time to do all the chores, then goes to school, and then engaged in the Affairs of his village. When in the village there strangers and I asked the girl who she is, it is simple and short: “my name is Natalia. I’m the President,” reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Cultural studies.
Like these presidents, Natalia at the time, chose the people. Primarily this choice was due to the fact that the girl for the rest of the village knows how to read and write. But not only that. Natalie stands out among the local kids a sense of purpose and not childish strong character and perseverance. And most importantly — Natalia fully supports changes for the better in his village.
Every morning the girls starts at 4:30 in the morning. She was the eldest of seven children (the youngest brother is now just 18 months), and wakes up her brothers and sisters, the girl need time to clean the house, wash the dishes after dinner, prepare Breakfast and heat water for the morning washing the whole family.
Now each of these tasks, Natalya takes on the force for half an hour, and even two years ago, all this time she’d been standing in the queue with the rest of the villagers waiting for their portions of water — dirty, muddy water, obtained from pits dug by hand. Sometimes this wait is so long that time school girls just. Sometimes if she managed to get to classes only twice a week. However, all this is in the past.
One of the charities drilled a well right in the centre of the village. They organized a group of local residents that would help to maintain the well and pump in working condition, and would also help to educate their neighbors with information about health. Natalia was elected head of this group, and eventually head of the entire village.
“It’s all in how she behaves, how she thinks… She is a true example for others, especially for girls,” says the Director of the school in which the student Natalia. Now, when the girl no need to stand waiting for water, she can attend school every day and does it with pleasure. “She is very responsible and is well able to make contact with people. She’s doing great to solve the problems of our community. And it pleases all of us.”
In addition to maintaining the cleanliness of the well, Natalia has also developed a unique business plan that provides the village the funds necessary for the purchase of pump repair parts. It organizes meetings in which tells the other villagers about how to use clean water, the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, sanitation and health.
“I’m very proud of Natalia,” says the headmaster. — “Our other students become more responsible, looking at her. If not for Natalia, much would not exist neither in school nor in the village.”
