Holders of shares of the company Tesla filed in Federal court in San Francisco class action lawsuit against the founder and CEO Elon musk.
About it reports Bloomberg.
Plaintiffs refer to a series of posts in Twitter account Mask, where he announced the desire to make Tesla to a private company instead of public.
The shareholders note that the message Mask has provoked jump of the prices for Tesla shares, with the result that many felt the financial loss.
“The statement of Mask that he has provided financing, was significant and caused a significant movement in the market. Since Musk has not provided the funding and gave the market a false and misleading information, the sellers of Tesla stock were forced to cover their positions by purchasing shares at artificially inflated prices after 12:48, 7 August 2018. Obvious that hit and all buyers of securities of Tesla,” said one of the shareholders Kalman Isaacs.
