The Ministry of economic development and trade (MEDT), in collaboration with the regional state administrations (RSA) in 2020 plans to create a network of business support centers in accordance with the development Strategy of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the Ministry said on the website Thursday after the meeting of the first Deputy Minister of economic development Maxim Nefyodov with representatives of the regional state administration.
“It is important to begin to transform the results of the project of international technical assistance to sustainable government policy tools, because still many projects in the field of entrepreneurship development is financed with funds from international donors. It is also crucial to provide feedback to regions regarding the needs of small businesses that will be the key to producing efficient solutions in this direction”, – quotes the press service of the M. Nefyodova.
As noted in the message of Ministry of economic development, business support centers will provide a basic level of free information and consultative support, in particular, to inform about available programmes SME support, conduct educational events. A network of such centers should become part of the state infrastructure of support of small and microbusiness, and also to potential entrepreneurs among the veterans of the ATO, internally displaced persons and youth, said the Ministry.
In addition, the Ministry within the Strategy for SME development is planning to create a website for entrepreneurs on the official website of the Ministry and implement a pilot project on the implementation of the mechanism of partial credit guarantees.
