Salary in Ukraine
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, who had earlier said that the salary increase should be economically justified and should not happen at the expense of additional printing of money, very optimistic and plans in the new year to enter with a high level of the minimum wage, reports “5 channel”.
“I am an optimist in this matter. I am convinced that in order to, in particular, to speak and about increase of pensions to Ukrainians to speak on the legalization of wages, to revive the purchasing power of citizens, it is our ambition and our commitment to the society this year to make 4200 UAH (the minimum wage),” – said Rozenko.
“When, in what form, how fast are we going to do – we, certainly, will consult within the government, but I will say it again: there is an appeal of the President of Ukraine about 4200 UAH, there is a public commitment including the draft state budget of Ukraine. There is also recorded the figure. I am convinced that this year we will be able to do it,” – said Vice Prime Minister.
Previously, we wrote about the fact that wage arrears in Ukraine exceeded $ 2.5 billion.
