The national Bank of Ukraine on 16 July 2018, compared to the previous banking day slightly weakened the hryvnia to 26,23 hryvnia per dollar.
The NBU set the official exchange rates at:
– $100 – 2623,3225 hryvnia (+0,518);
– 100 Euro – 3054,3344 hryvnia (-3,3311);
10 Russian rubles – 4,2112 hryvnia (-0,0051).
The dollar on the interbank market in the sale of 13 July 2018 rose by 1 penny to 26.25 UAH/USD rate in the purchase also increased by 1 copeck – to 26,24 UAH/USD. The Euro is down 7 cents to 30,55 UAH/EUR.
Earlier it became known that the NBU decided to increase the discount rate to 17.5% per annum to bring inflation to the target range in 2019.
The Ministry of economic development and trade said that the forecast of economic and social development of Ukraine for the years 2019-2021 built on the basic assumption of gradual devaluation of the hryvnia is not more than 3.2% per year.
