The national Bank expects to receive in the form of remittances from abroad to 11.6 billion dollars in 2018 and to us $ 12.2 billion in 2019.
The national Bank of Ukraine predicts an increase in remittances to Ukraine. On Thursday, July 12, at a press briefing said the Deputy Chairman of the national Bank Dmitry Sologub, RBC-Ukraine online reports.
“We have increased the Outlook for remittances to 11.6 billion this year to USD 12.2 billion in the next one,” he said.
As explained in NBU, it is connected with growth of labour migration.
Sologub also added that labour migration on the one hand positively affect the balance of payments, but on the other – a negative effect on inflation.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine increased the money supply.
At the same time, the Ministry of economy forecast that the hryvnia will depreciate by 3% per year.
