THREE-RIVERS — The Workshops and the Orchestre symphonique des jeunes Philippe-Filion present The spring concert of our 40 years. The event will take place on Saturday, may 12 to 16 h in the auditorium of the école secondaire des Chutes de Shawinigan. Under the direction of Monique Gagnon Carbonneau and his assistant Andréanne Lamothe, the orchestra will be accompanied for the occasion by the choir of the children of the primary school Félix-Leclerc, under the direction of Julie Lefebvre. Museum of the religions of the world
Trois-Rivières (FH) — Since April 30, last, researchers, teachers, as well as the general public can take advantage of a new web site through which golfers can find several artifacts from the collections of the Museum of world religions in Nicolet, the Musée des Abénakis Odanak, the Musée québécois agriculture and food, as well as the Musée de Charlevoix. The items offered are presented with a view to 360° which allows to better appreciate them. “It is important for us to allow for greater ease of research for the general population because our museum is full of pieces of history,” says Jean-François Royal, director of the museum nicolétain, initiator of the project. Trois-Rivières (FH) — On Saturday, may 12 between 10 h and 16 h, the stylist Jean Airoldi will be at the Center of The Rivers of Three Rivers to facilitate the event Test your style. In a setting of tv set, it will invite participants to evaluate their style. Several prizes will be awarded and a winner will deserve a private consultation with Jean and a wardrobe of $1000.
Trois-Rivières (KA) — a Lunchtime literary are back for a 7th year from 14 may to 11 June. The honour of launching the season is up to the authors Anne-Marie Couturier and Anne-Marie Sicotte. It is to be noted that because of the work done in the area of the library Gatien-Lapointe, Midis literary will take place at the Centre culturel Pauline-Julien, from noon to 13 h. The entrance is free. Participants can bring their lunch and enjoy coffee provided free of charge.
Symposium on the quai de Batiscan
Trois-Rivières (FH) — The 14th and 15th of July next will be held the 5th Symposium of the quai de Batiscan organized by the Cooperative of visual arts Channel in partnership with the Corporation touristique de Batiscan. Visual artists from across Québec are invited to participate. $ 80 registration includes the location for the end of the week, a lunch box per day and the accession to the CAVC, and a place on the site www.coopcavc.com. No commission is charged on sales. A marquee will be installed, and the artists only have to provide the structure to present their works. Table, chairs and electricity will be available upon request. Last year, 310 people have visited the exhibition.
