Three-Rivers — The triathlete Pavlos Antoniades and canoeist Laurence Vincent-Lapointe are part of the athletes that distinguish themselves in Québec during the last year. By virtue of their brilliance, the two Trifluviens find themselves nominated for the 45th edition of the Gala Sports Québec.
Chosen junior athlete of the year by Triathlon Canada and Triathlon Québec, Antoniades has left his mark by becoming the first athlete to prevail in the sprint triathlon at the canadian junior Championships and Canada Games, in the course of the same year. He also added two bronze medals in the Canada Games in the relay events.
His spectacular year has been cordoned off by a 15th position at the world junior Championships. Antoniades is a regular at this annual event. Over the years, he has won two trophies Maurice as an athlete by excellence at the quebec level, in 2015 and 2016.
The partner by excellence
