Maisons des jeunes du Centre-du-Québec
The Maison des jeunes (MDJ) The Fortress of Sainte-Angèle-de-Laval and the MDJ of the Water-Vent of Saint-Léonard-d’aston have raised the price blow of heart of the Solidarity Committee of Trois-Rivières for their collective work created in the framework of the project Changing the world one work at a time. The two houses of young people were on hand on April 10 for the official opening of the exhibition.

Since November, three young people from each of the houses of young people are involved in this art project overseen by the artist Javier Escamilla, headed by the Network In-Earth-Active in the Solidarity Committee of Trois-Rivières. Over the ten meetings, these young people are aware of different social issues and have expressed, through their work, that the Being, marked by its injuries and its suffering, is a particle in humanity, and that by looking more closely we see hope, positivity and love. This experience educational, cultural and artistic emanates a magnificent work, a colourful and touching. The artists are Anne-Marie Benedict, Charlie Bernet, Francis Carpentier, Logan Carrier, Elia Dallaire, Elysabeth Dupont, Xavier Nourry, Mariève Proulx-Roy and Zoe Roy. The exhibition will be presented free of charge at the Musée québécois de culture populaire until April 29.
