Bruny Surin in Shawinigan

The Chamber of commerce and industry of Shawinigan received the visit of the olympic gold medalist, Bruny Surin, on April 18, at the Hostel Governor. New celebrants
Three new city councillors in Shawinigan will now be able to celebrate marriages, as allowed by the civil Code of Québec. In addition, the city council has retained the services of Green tomorrow for mowing the lawn in the areas Shawinigan, Shawinigan-Sud, Saint-Gérard-des-Laurentides, and Saint-Jean-des-Piles. In the case of Grand-Mother, the Department of public works has recommended the exercising the renewal option of its contract with The Déneigements CBS Neault for 2018 and 2019.

Finally, the city council has also granted the renewal of contracts in 2018 and 2019 for the supply of sand from foundation to Construction and Pavages Continental division de Construction DJL), the supply of mixed concrete to Unibéton division de Ciment Quebec) and the supply of bituminous mixtures, depending on the type of mixture desired, to Maskimo Construction, Pagé Construction (a division of Sintra) and Construction and Pavages Continental division de Construction DJL).
