Arena of Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets
The upgrade of the arena of Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets can be less costly than expected. In fact, the process proposed by Aubin Pélissier to change the freon gas R22 to R507 will spend the invoice from 1.3 million to 81 500 $. This includes the replacement of certain mechanical components used in the refrigeration as well as the replacement of the ventilation system of the bleachers. “We will be the first arena to benefit from this system”, proudly announces the mayor Éric Dupont. The funds required for such work the spring will come from the Fund of development of regional territories (of $ 35,000), while a sum of $ 55 000 stems of the Committee Réno-Arena, collected during financing activities. “It is a service of proximity that we could not afford to lose, because more and more young families settled in Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets,” concludes one who is proud of the program of recreational hockey offered, while highlighting the existence of a program profile hockey at école secondaire les Seigneuries.
