MONTREAL – The Montreal canadiens announced that forward Paul Byron had suffered on Wednesday a surgical operation to the right shoulder, and that his rehabilitation period will be six months.
The intervention was performed by Dr. William Levine, New York, has been provided in the press release.
Byron, who is 28-year-old has scored 20 goals and amassed 15 assists in 82 games with the Habs this season. He has reached the plateau of 20 goals for the second time in their career, and for a second consecutive season.
The player Ottawa native was drafted by the Sabres in Buffalo in the sixth round, 179th in total, in 2007, and it has been claimed the tie with the Calgary Flames at the start of the 2015-2016 season.
